Parking Information/Registration

While parking is free* at all properties, parking requirements do vary based on the property and/or additional vehicles. If you are planning on having a vehicle and/or guests with vehicles, TempStay requires the below information be completed. 

Parking falls into 3 categories:
  • No Permit/Open Parking
  • Physical Permit/Hangtag - Will be provided in unit ( PLACE IMMEDIATELY )
  • Virtual Permit / Vehicle Registration - Vehicle information must be provided below.
Towing is STRICTLY ENFORCED AT ALL PROPERTIES . Saying that, every location has different rules and varying Property Towing Companies (henceforth referred to as ' PTC ') . They also have various rules on times when towing is specifically enforced. While we do not know specific hours, we can assure you any vehicle not registered/displaying physical permit/violating property parking rules will be towed at night, so do not risk it.

Parking Rules

8181 Med Center is EXTREMELY strict regarding parking for residents. With the close proximity to NRG Park, the PTC has strict orders to tow any vehicle IMMEDIATELY if not registered for a permit or a visitor pass (48-Hours) or violating the below rules. 
  1. Parking in a reserved carport space
  2. Parking in a Handicap Space without required placard/plate
  3. Parked outside parking lines or taking up 2 or more spaces
  4. Blocking entry/exit areas, main thoroughfares, or parking spaces outside the property (in front of leasing office)
  5. Parking in fire lanes and/or blocking hydrants
  6. Vehicles displaying any of the following issues/concerns
    1. Expired Registration or Inspection Sticker
    2. Flat Tire (24-hour notice)
    3. Fluid leak
    4. Abandoned or inoperable vehicles (24-hour notice)
  7. Visitor parking outside visitor parking area (along outer perimeter fence)
  8. Expired visitor permit (note: contact TempStay if needing a 24-hour visitor pass)

Parking Advice

While all properties TempStay works with do everything they can to mitigate safety concerns, TempStay still recommends following the below procedures related to parking:

  1. Lock your vehicle at all times
  2. Ensure no valuables are left in the vehicle including money/wallets/purses/personal defense items/identification/etc.
  3. Report any suspicious activity on premises to the leasing office (during normal hours) or relevant authorities (non-emergency: 311 / emergency: 911)

Residents of Stella at the Medical Center can renew visitor permits by visiting  www.onsiteparking.com/visitors , entering their  unit #  and passcode ' tempstay ', and entering vehicle information)
